Most SAT practice is solitary. This page covers the resources we built into SATClash — competitive SAT games, PvP duels and private competitions — plus where the official material sits, so you can mix drilling with something that keeps you coming back.
SAT games: practice that plays like a match
A SATClash game is a short head-to-head set of real SAT-style questions. Both players see the same question at the same time on a shared server clock, one point per correct answer, and a tied 1v1 goes to sudden death — the match ends the instant one player is right and the other is not.
Two subjects are available: Math (with a built-in Desmos graphing calculator you can drag and resize) and Reading & Writing. Every question is followed by a review screen showing the correct choice and an explanation, so a loss is still study time.
SAT PvP: ranked vs unranked
Unranked duels need no account — flip the switch on the home page and play as a guest. Nothing is rated, so it is the low-stakes way to try the format.
Ranked duels need an account and move your Elo. Everyone starts at 800 and climbs through tiers from Wood to Diamond; the leaderboard shows the top players with their win-loss record and per-subject accuracy. Queues pair whoever is waiting, so you are matched quickly rather than sitting in an empty lobby.
SAT competitions with friends or a class
Create a private lobby, share the six-character code, and up to four players can join. The host picks Math or Reading & Writing and sets the number of questions with a slider (1–15), which makes it workable for a quick two-minute race or a longer classroom round. Private lobbies are unranked, so nobody risks their rating in a group competition.
Question timings we use
Timers are per topic and run on the server, so they cannot be paused or gamed. These are the limits currently in play:

Sudden-death rounds use a shorter limit than the standard one for the same topic.
